Dallas Hoping to Tie Series After Game 1 Loss

By [Your Name]

The Dallas Stars will look to tie their Western Conference semifinal series against the Vegas Golden Knights when they host Game 2 on Wednesday night.

The Stars dropped the series opener 5-2 on Monday night, but they are confident they can bounce back in front of their home crowd.

"We just have to be better," said Stars captain Jamie Benn. "We didn't play our best game, but we know we can be better. We just have to go out there and execute."

The Stars will need to be better defensively in Game 2. They allowed the Golden Knights to score five goals on just 27 shots in Game 1.

"We have to be harder to play against," said Stars coach Jim Montgomery. "We need to make it harder for them to get to the net and create chances."

The Stars will also need to be better on the power play. They were 0-for-5 on the power play in Game 1.

"We need to get our power play going," said Benn. "That's a big part of our game. We need to be able to capitalize on those chances."

The Stars are confident they can turn things around in Game 2. They have a good team, and they are playing at home.

"We know we can win this series," said Benn. "We just have to go out there and play our game."
