Rhaenyra Targaryen, the first-born child of King Viserys I, was once hailed as the "Realm's Delight" in her youth. However, her reign as queen was short-lived, earning her the moniker "Half-Year Queen."

Children and Legacy

Rhaenyra gave birth to six children, including three Velaryon sons (though Harwin Strong is believed to be their true father), two full-blooded Targaryen sons, and one daughter. Despite her numerous offspring, tragedy struck as she lost two of them, including one during childbirth.

Despite her tragic losses, Rhaenyra's children played significant roles in the history of Westeros. Her first three sons, Jacaerys, Lucerys, and Joffrey, were legally fathered by Ser Laenor Velaryon but had Strong as their biological father.
