The United States Men's National Team (USMNT) kicked off its 2023 schedule with a match against Serbia at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. The match featured a young USMNT squad with an average age of just over 23 years old.

The United States put in a spirited performance, but ultimately fell to Serbia 2-1. Despite the loss, the match provided valuable experience for the young American players.

The USMNT will continue its 2023 schedule with a match against Colombia on June 9. The team will then face off against Grenada on June 14 before concluding the group stage against Jamaica on June 22.

The USMNT is looking to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
